I won't be posting much, if at all, for the next couple weeks. We are going on vacation. Because we are going to the same place as we did last year,
#1 son will read and listen to his iPod.
But this year no ribbon yarn will accompany me, only yummy yarns (that's a technical term).
Three weeks is a long time, and last year I ran out of knitting. There is a grocery/dry goods store in Buffalo, Wyoming, the town nearest the campground, but all they had was a limited selection of Lion Brand wools. With all the goodies I've acquired in the last year there is no reason to go unprepared.
The yellow tote, which I got at the MKG Yarnover in April (someday I need to write up the post for that, yup, I do) is stuffed full of enough yarn for three Dulaan sweaters; the Dulaan bag has the current Dulaan sweater, now fully recovered from the unfortunate incident of the upside-down sleeve (the misbehaving sleeve has been removed and inserted properly; next step, the fair isle yoke); and the turquoise Lantern Moon bag has the second ball of Koigu for the second pinkish sock, plus two more balls of bluish Koigu for another pair. I shall not run out this time, oh, no. I. Am. Prepared.
See ya on the flip side!
