You know what's fun?
Fun is a baby-sized garter stitch project (Ravelry link) out of colorful wool worsted. This is for the co-worker who had a baby last August. I am making the sweater coat to fit little Kaitlyn next fall/winter/spring. ::fingers crossed:: Since that is such a l-o-n-g season here in the Great Frozen North, I have a fair amount of leeway in the sizing.
After I finished those socks last week I whipped out another preemie hat. These things are like potato chips. I hope to have a whole stash of them by next January.
Yarn: Plymouth Encore Colorspun, a pink/red/pink/mauve/pink/orange color, aka #7515 (catchy name, huh?), with a couple rows of Lion Brand Wool-Ease in dark red at the edge.
Pattern: Chell's preemie hat, 56 st.
Needles: KnitPicks Options US#5.

Senior dog Bear's mobility continues to improve, due to regular 2x/daily ingestion of chondritin glucosamine and Rimadyl. Here she is going down the deck stairs ALL BY HERSELF. It is the first time she has done that since December, at least.
Here she is looking perky and alert while waiting for someone to open the door and let her in.
She is pretty sure that it is her intent stare that causes the door to open.
love that premie hat; artfully photographed, too . . .

Lookit all the knitting!
So glad the old dog joints are working better right now. I'm sure the warm weather is helping along with the supplements and meds.

Don't kid yourself. You knit more than I do even on your slowest day! Love those baby things...so cute!
And yay for Bear! She must be feeling so much better. I do believe I detect a little bit of the "puppy" in those big, brown eyes...

Can you give a dog MSM? I use that and Glucosomine for my sore joints and it works wonders!

That stare does work on doors. If you wait long enough. :o) Glad she's better!

Sweet dogs! I'll have to check out that baby jacket... I'm awaiting a new great niece or nephew - I hate not knowing which, because it impairs the preparatory knitting!

Great blanket colors.

Cute hat! We got our old dog Jane some chondritin glucosamine dog treats, Zukes I think, and they really seem to be helping. It's so hard to watch them get old and be uncomfortable. Glad your 'pup' is doing better!

If Bear is feeling better, Spring must be on the way.
