Back in the days of novelty yarns, I made a scarf for my SIL. She asked for one in red and purple to wear to her Red Hat meetings.
I obliged.
Did she ever wear it? I don't know (she lives 400+ miles away). Would you?

I have seen many red-hat-lady groups wearing very similar attire at restaurants around the globe (yep -- even in Amsterdam). So, my bet is. . . she wears it.

To replace a feather boa for someone with allergies?

I wouldn't, but I've seen WAY too many of those... so my guess is that she does.

Haha, wow! But I will admit that one of the first things I ever made was a super-basic scarf in ice blue Fun Fur. And I wore it out of the house. To work, even!
I vividly remember sitting there at my desk all day, plucking ice blue fibers off my black shirt. By the end of the day, there was this huge wad of shed Fun Fur in the trash. It was all over the desk, the floor, everywhere.
Sad, really. And such a disappointment.

I would hope she did since you knit it. o.O Me? Never!

Tee hee hee. I think I tossed those knits of mine. Had I known what an excellent blog post they Missoula have made, I might have kept them!

Might autocorrect = Missoula? Really?

The name alone! Dazzlelash! I have a coworker who is still wearing a lot of these scarves... I don't have the heart to tell her she shouldn't but I am a good enough friend to reteach her how to knit!

EEUW - for the knitting. What a good SiL you are.

I'm sure she wore it - because I know I've seen in restaurants and museums near me ;) There just can't be that many of those around ... right?
