I think I'd probably get all distracted and end up running over a squirrel or something. Might be for the best that Maine doesn't have that sort of traffic control!

When I was in high school, there was a traffic cop who enjoyed his time - for about an hour. I don't know what happened - he might have gotten tired ;)

When I worked for Greater Twin Cities United Way (1999 - 2002) I saw some traffic cops in downtown Minneapolis doing some amazing dances. I hated to get through the intersection because I enjoyed watching them so much. Perhaps these things have also changed in our new downturned economy. Perhaps they fear if they dance they'll get laid off. And finding another job could be downright near impossible. Sigh.
