Doctors are human beings, and like the rest of us, do not like to talk about bad things. It may be up to us to ask them the hard questions. Like, Can this come back? Exactly what are the chances? What should I watch for?

I have a friend who has been battling cancer for 15 years - at 18 mo intervals. It gives me hope and scares the shit out of me.

Sad. It just makes me sad because it reminds me of those we've lost (most of us have lost someone, I think).
