From the draft folder; November, 2011.
We got a letter awhile back from the [medical school's] Class of 2012 Yearbook Staff congratulating us on our [sic] "child's upcoming commencement".
More to the point, they implored entreated asked us to buy an ad in the yearbook in order to contribute to the $15,000 cost of producing it.
Here's the ad I thought would be a hoot inappropriate (but completely true) to purchase ($200 for a quarter page, so this was all just imaginary):
Love it! Thanks for the morning chuckle! :-)

Yes, that sounds perfectly normal. That's also perfectly normal for a person studying to become a lawyer. I remember when I was in undergrad school, XX years ago, the law library was open late on Saturday night while the undergrad library was dark. Last week-end I revisited beautiful Hamline University for my XX reunion. Late on Saturday night the undergrad library was dark, but the law library had lights on and people inside studying. It's still perfectly normal.
