#1 Son is in the midst of studying for the Step 1 exam, which is given after the second year of medical school. He says he is studying 10 - 12 hours a day and working harder than he ever has in his life.
I sent this to him. Because I am weird like that.
Note: this is actually more applicable the the exams in his courses than the Step 1, I think (I hope, for his sake); his professors often seem to delight in asking ridiculously complicated questions. This is proved by the fact that sometimes the curve yields a 40% as a passing grade. But the Step 1 is a standard national exam taken by all medical students so is [probably] not subject to the quirks of individual professors.
Let's all keep our fingers crossed for him, m'kay? The exam is Monday, June 21.
