Practice made perfect! This is an Indian dish named 'Parotta'. The man makes it flat and throws it to the cook who will cook it in a hot and flat iron top.
I am wondering why the front guy hits his surface twice. The first hit is to alert the guy at the cooker that the front guys has just tossed a parotta to him. Why the second stroke? Maybe to let the back guy know that there will be another parotta coming momentarily? Front guy would only hit once if he were, say, going to scratch his nose. Or something...
