I never upgrade to a new version of anything right away because I want to read/hear some feedback about it first. I like to know the initial kinks are worked out, given that many software companies -- I'm looking at you, Microsoft -- release beta versions as upgrades.

I have often emailed interesting Twitter links to myself for use in the Saturday links posts. Precisely when Gmail did their upgrade to tabbed inboxes last June (?), that feature of Twitter stopped working. My emails went somewhere into the ether, never to be seen again.
Until Sunday night, when the 50+ lost emails appeared in my inbox.
