Needle: Signature circ US#4.
Pattern: Sockhead Hat.
We went to visit Elder Son last weekend -- many hours in the car. I had cast on this hat the day before and knit a few rounds; it was my car knitting for the trip. Finished it on I-90 even before we turned north on I-35, so I was able to get a good start on another pair of double-thick socks.
I made myself a hat about a month ago, but it turned out to be droopy rather than slouchy, so it is in time out until I get the courage -- or energy -- to frog the last part and make it shorter. This one, however, is a winner! In my stash I have some handspun in a similar colorway that will become a coordinating scarf.
